Get Involved in your Neighborhood
Safer neighborhoods begin with you. Preventing crime can be as
easy as looking out your window more frequently for suspicious activity
in your neighborhood. A stranger peering into parked vehicles on the
street might be a signal to call 9-1-1 immediately and report this
suspicious activity.
Organize a Neighborhood Watch Group
Working together can be the key to reversing crime trends in your
neighborhood. Watch groups can be a small collection of neighbors or
several blocks of neighbors exchanging phone numbers to stay informed
about suspicious activity and act as "eyes on the street" for one
another.
